File it in Style

Weather you use this for files, treasures, crafts or an extra blanket it will be lovely in any room.

 I am loving my little garden bench.  It was just two logs and a couple boards.  Since it wouldn't stay standing at times though I added boards to the bottom.  Mulch covers them.
I was outside painting yesterday and decided since this lil bench was sitting still I'd JAZZ it up.  THEN I thought the purple is good but what about some real pazaz?  So I got out the stencils  and played a bit. I do a lot with white so I decided Yellow would pop and be more interesting. A little indoor outdoor sealer and presto it's cute as can be.
I might just have to do a few more throughout the gardens.

Meet Lesson. This piece taught me many things. 

First, not everything is a treasure that I should try to save. 

Second, to pay much more attention when selecting things to redo.

Lesson is a beauty for sure but WOW was she a lot of work. 

Her drawers have been reglued. Her foot remade and reattached. Her seams all needed tightened. All her vaneer had to go as it had been sanded through to the glue. She's all ready for another 100 years of use and beauty.

Fresh 'NEW' Frames

It isn't always the art that  needs changed. 

Sometimes the frame just needs an update.
